A seven-night stay in a lovely litttle cottage in the Peak District village of Tideswell in April 2023.
The location was perfect. We could walk in any direction, directly from the cottage, for fantastic and varied walks in the stunning countryside. The village also had a good collection of pubs, restaurants and shops to ensure we had easy access to all the provisions we needed.
The weather was mixed, ranging from sharp downpours to bright sunshine, but much of the time we were blasted by a very cold northerly wind.
