Day 1 - Lanercost Priory and Hadrian's Wall

Heading out from the town centre via the Moat, initially along the Brampton Ridge and through The Ridgewood before following a lovely wooded path along Quarry Beck all the way to Lanercost.
Here we headed due North to pick up Hadrian's Wall at Haytongate, then followed the wall East to Wall Bowers.
We followed a path allong the valley of the River Irthing back to Lanercost, then retraced our route back to Brampton.
A great first day.
