September 2015
Feeling in need of a bit of a break, we headed off to Norfolk (yet again) and the Nar Valley Way. Just two days walking, covering just under 40 miles in total.
The first day started in King's Lynn and followed the River Nar all the way to Castle Acre. The second day was more varied, following the valley (rather than the river) through farmland and pleasant wooded lanes to the official end point at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse Museum.
After a cuppa and slice of cake at the Museum cafe, a quick couple of miles brought us into Dereham where we caught the bus back home to Peterborough.
