Bolton Castle Circuit - 10.5 miles

After exploring the three cascades of Aysgarth Falls, we head over to fascinating Bolton Castle, diverting en-route down to the stepping stones over the River Ure at Stony Stoop Lane. After several hours wandering round the castle and gardens (and the cafe serving wonderful cakes and slices!) we return to the hotel via Bolton Parks and the village of Carperby.
